We are pleased to report on a significant and productive engagement held on 4 February 2026, during which representatives of Kingdom Education Mission Euro ry visited the Riveria vocational education campus in Finland. Riveria stands as one of the foremost providers of vocational education and training (VET) in Finland, offering a wide array of qualifications across multiple fields, including apprenticeship programmes, continuing professional development, and workforce-oriented training. The institution maintains campuses in several locations, such as Joensuu, and delivers education that emphasises accessibility for learners and openness to labour market needs. We extend our sincere gratitude to Riveria for generously hosting our delegation and facilitating in-depth discussions on the Finnish Vocational Education and Training system. These exchanges provided valuable insights into innovative pedagogical approaches, practical skill development, apprenticeship models, and strategies for supporting diverse student populations, including international learners. Particular appreciation is due to Trainer Eija (Tr. Eija), whose exemplary dedication, kindness, and professional expertise have made a lasting and positive impact on numerous Myanmar students. Her compassionate support, tireless assistance, and commitment to guiding students through their educational and integration journeys are deeply admired and highly valued by our community.
